I've had a chance to do a lot of work on the first public beta of Donor Manager 6.

Some of the highlights of this version include:

• There are a lot of cosmetic changes
  
• Supports screen resizing
• The "Pack and Go" routines are now called "Data Transfer Files" and use the standard .zip format rather than the proprietary .tza format
• Several new fields added to the Partner Information Screen
• Rewrite of the backup / quick backup / restore / quick restore routines
• Imports your existing information from DM 5

Some Terminology Changes

I've changed some terminology in the program to clear up some confusion.

• The "Pack and Go" files have been renamed "Data Transfer Files"
• The "Live Update" has been renamed "Check for Updates"

Features not yet fully implemented include:

• Support for partner "groups" ... make your own categories and add partners to those
• Support for multiple donor manager data sets
• Multi-currency support
