A query that brings up addresses to print.

Post by Nick_Kircher »

We have Donor Manager 6 Build 72 installed on Windows 7. We are trying to print envelopes of people on the mailing list who have no email address. It seems that if we simply click the box that says "no email address" we should get all the addresses of anyone who doesn't have an email address to show up for printing. In reality, we get almost all of the addresses on our database, over 600. We also tried various configurations, but none of them worked. We either got addresses that shouldn't have been included, or we didn't get everyone that should have been included. What we get in the query seems not to have much relationship with what we want… Perhaps we don't understand what the query is supposed to do…

Please help!

Sincerely,

Nick Kircher

Hi Nick,

Sorry you have run into a problem here.

This was a bug that has been (I'm pretty sure) fixed in an update a while ago.

So, try this. Do a "Live Update" to get the latest version (currently 6.01 build 122).

Then, go to Tools -> Rebuild Group Information

Then see if things work better for you.

Let me know how it goes. I'm glad to help.
