Partner's Church Link

Just installed DM 6.0 build 26 and imported data from DM 5. I don't find the following problem in this forum yet.
When I try to select a church using the "Link" button on the Partner Information tab, nothing shows in the field and the cursor is placed in the "Source" field.
Not sure if this should work but when I then try to copy the value from a different partner from the same church and paste it into a different partner's record, that partner does not show up as associated records for that church in the "Churches" list.
