Trailing 12 month giving history...
Perhaps this is a quirk of the Wycliffe cycle, but this report always gives us only 11 months of history.
Our statements come out about the 7th of the month. Thus on January 7th when I generate this report I see donations from February 04 through January 05, however the January 7th, 05 statement reflects December donations and thus the Jan 05 column is always blank, and the totals thus only reflect 11 months of activity! Is this a bug, quirk, or just the way it goes? It would seem that to get a 12 month report, we would want to look at the previous 13 months, minus the current month, or we would want to post the December 04 giving in the January 04 month (since that is when it was reported)???
Actually, I would think that this trailing report, generated in Janaury 05 would properly reflect January 04 through December 04 months of giving, OR it would give me a choice of entering the reference month much like the monthly donor analysis report does.
