I installed DM on my computer (windows using bootcamp on my mac). I try to import from an excel file into DM,but Windows shuts it down. I tried uninstall, reinstall, rebooting, etc. No success.

Sorry you are running into some problems here.
A few suggestions: try saving the Excel file as an Excel 95 file. Sometimes that helps.
Also, which routine are you using to do the import. And, do you get a specific error message?
Let me know on those and that may help me give you better advice.
