Unable to edit codes

I am in 'Tools' "Lists and Codes'. I want to add a new code in Partner types - but am unable to do so.
Actually the same thing is happening in all the codes. I am unable to edit any codes.
I am able to add a code, but it will not allow me to edit it. I can delete the newly added one since I couldn't edit it.
So, how do I fix this?

Dear Toni,
Sorry to be slow getting back to you.
I looked at this on my computer and I'm not having any difficulty adding codes.
Be sure you have the latest version of the program (currently 6.07 at this writing) and then try again.
If that doesn't help, perhaps we can schedule a time to do a remote access session so I can see what you are seeing. That may help figure out what the problem is.

Just a quick note: I did a few code changes in this. I found that I could not add new Fund ID codes.
Actually, when I clicked <Add New Code> it added a new code, but didn't show it on the screen.
Leaving the program and going back in made them show.
This update is in DM 6.08 an later.
