I found some more info that might help narrow down the problem of new partners not showing up in the gift entry. When I exported my records, I noticed that some records are appearing at the top of my export list with no entry in the alphasort field. They have a name entered in the "File As" field in DM, but I notice that this field acts differently than the old "ALPHASORT" field (longer, etc). Also, one partner who got married still has the maiden name despite the fact that I changed the name in the "File As" field. Is that problem related?
