Returned Email

Post by loren_rothmann »

When we send batches of email, and something gets returned to us, we do not always know who the email belongs to. It would be good to search for partners by their email address.

Our workaround has been to "print" our database to a PDF and search from that.

God bless you in your ministry! Don't know what we would do without DM!!!

Actually, there is already a way to do that.

When you do a search, normally the DM searches by last name.

But (and this is the good part), if you put a "period" (.) in front of what you are searching by, the DM will search all fields for the information that you have entered.

So, if you are searching for bozo@yahoo.com, you would enter ".bozo" and you would quickly find the record you want.

It's really handy, for example, when you remember someone's wife's name or kid's name, but can't remember their last name. Just enter ".amanda" and you will get all records that have the word "amanda" anywhere in them.
