record number

When looking at the list of partners, it shows the total number of partners at the bottom. I would like for it to also show me which record I am on. For example, if Fred Smith's name is highlighted, I would like to know that he is record #600 (if I had 800 partners total). This may not be essential, but when I am going through my partners making changes or checking each record for something, it would be nice if I could occasionally come to this view and see how close I am to being finished! =0) Thanks!
