Merge Donor Records

Occasionally I have duplicate records for the same person, usually because the name I have in Donor Manager and the name that comes on the file from HQ may be different (Richard and Dick, John and Jack, etc.), or even sometimes I may have the wife's name, but the donation comes in the name of the husband. When I realize the mistake, I have 2 files with donations listed in both files. I also have had single women get married and then get a new file in the married name, and would like to have the two merged together. Think it is doable?

Is this feature still available in version 6? I don't see it anywhere.

Hey Ben,
It is still in version 6. Use the drop-down "Tools" menu (File / Edit / Reports / Tools) ... it's there in the list, about the same place as it was in Dm 5.
