Importing multiple Reports

Post by gman »

Donor manager has been a great blessing to several of our missionaries so I am getting set up on it also.
We have three basic ministry areas and I am not seeing how I can generate 3 separate databases to keep the three areas from overlapping.
Basically we have
Personal Support
Orphanage Support
Educational Support.
If there is a way I can keep the three separated I would like to do so.
Thanks and God Bless you for sharing the abilities He has given you. Gman

There are a couple of ways you could go.

One, you could go with 3 copies of the DM and that would keep all of the DBs totally separate.

Install one in each of:

c:\donor5support
C:\donor5orphanage
C:\donor5education

Two, you could use the "donor type" field to differentiate between the groups.

Three, you could use the "user flags" to keep these separate.

But, in the present version, some reports can get run filtering by sub-group, but some don't.

So, there is no "ideal" solution to your situation.
