line spacing on labels

Post by huttarl »

Hello John,
Thanks for a great tool ... it's obvious a lot of work has gone into it over the years!

I recently started using DM and tried the label-printing feature. The default font is pretty small (9pt), so I was glad to find an option to make it bigger.
However, when I increased the font size, the line spacing (lines per inch) seemed to stay the same, so that the text got vertically crowded.

Is it possible to have the line spacing increase proportionally to the font size? Or else to let the user adjust line spacing separately from the font size?

Blessings from a fellow programmer...

Great question.

Let me think a bit on how best to handle that.

Lately, I've been using the DM to generate a csv file which I then feed to Word (or some other word processor) to generate labels as they are far more flexible and can handle this "font size" and "line spacing" issue much more elegantly.
