Every month, I use the Apply Touch Information to Many Records. I do this to keep track of the people to whom I have sent a newsletter or a prayer letter. I would like it if on the screen where I enter the touch, I could select whether I would like the touch to be left open or closed. That way for these monthly actions, I wouldn't have to go and manually close 300 touches. I don't need these touches to be included in my Follow Up Reminders.
Thanks,
Michael

Michael,
When I first read your post, I thought, "Wait a sec. The program already does what he is asking for. It doesn't add "multiple touches" to the reminders list.
But, it does! Ooops. It's not supposed to do that.
Anyway, I've actually just fixed what I consider a bug, and it's in the reminders list and the reminders report. It is only supposed to list entries that have something in the Follow Up Date, Type, or Comments, and are not marked as "Done."
So, I think that's fixed, beginning with 5.36.04.
Thanks for posting this. I can't believe I missed it!

It Works
Thank you for implementing this "bug fix." You did it so fast that I don't have close all of the touches from the newsletters that got mailed today! It works wonderfully.

Michael,
I'm glad it is working for you.
Actually, though, the timing just worked out right. The message came in with your request when I was working on some other DM related stuff, and it took a grand total of about 2 minutes to do.
Some stuff is easy, other stuff takes quite a while longer!
Kinda' like life, huh?

I'm glad it was an easy one. Those are my favorite!
