at the moment Pioneers is using Tnt another great program and has some great benifits, but I can not decide which one I want to use, but It would be great if I could import their gift giving into the program with the address update as well.

re: Pioneers Importing
TNT is indeed a very nice program. There are a lot of places where TNTMPD and the Donor Manager overlap, and some other places where they take different approaches.
Which one is right for you (or even one of the other similar programs (see http://www.donormanager.com/links.htm#other) depends on how you do things and your particular approach.
It would be a snap for me to write an importer for TNT type contribution files, and I'll put that on my "do list" for the next update. If you could send me an email to john@donormanager.com, I'll let you know when there is something for you to test for me.
Now, if I recall, TNTMPD pulls these directly from an organizations web site if they have set up their server to serve these requests. Is that what Pioneers does, or do they e-mail you these contribution files, or what?

Somewhat on the same subject
I just wondered how difficult it would be to write a routine that would import and export to and from TNT as they are both M$ software based. Still think it would be great to port it to filemaker.

TNT Importer
Actually, I've started working on a TNT format importer but just haven't gotten around to finishing it.
TNT format is actually a simple text file with three sections. Since a number of organizations supply their contributions in that format, it would make sense to add that to the DM as a common import format, and it wouldn't require any additional work for folks.
