Donor Manager Software

I have my data in Access 2007. I can export to Excel 5.0/95 or Excel 97-2003.

When I export to 97-2003 format, DM complains just after I select the file to import saying, "Internal consistency error."

When I export to 5.0/95 format, the comment field is truncated to 255 characters, and I have comments longer than that. I'd prefer not to have to type or copy/paste those comments over from Access to DM. (I have about 700 records.)

I also have access to Access 2003 if that would help me any.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You are correct about about the limit on importing comments from Excel.

But, send me your Access file and I'll see if I can do a straight Access -> FoxPro conversion manually.

Thank you, John, for the offer to convert my data for me, but I've already got the data from Access into Donor Manager and have now added several years' worth of giving data.

I think the number of records with comments over 255 characters long is not a large percentage of the total, and so will just re-type or copy-paste that extra data by hand.
