Switching from old computer to new computer

First I want to say thank you for this fantastic program and that we use it almost everyday.
Okay, here is what happened and where I need some help. Before reading the quick and easy pack and go method of transferring files, I did things on my own through the Full Back Up button in the tools. Then I began the process of setting up the new computer by downloading DM and installing. Then I copied the DM back up files from my Ext HD to the new DM folder. I have not been able to see any of my data that I hopefully have backed up. We are preparing for a huge support raising trip and we are desperately trying to get access to these crucial files asap. PLEASE HELP!!!!
