file access is denied

Post by trolley3 »

I installed DM it seemed installed properly but then when I used Pack and Go to iload records from a tza file created by another DM user I can no longer access DM. I get a window with "file access is denied". Clicking help doesn't do anything and clicking ignore closes the window. I'm running on Vista. Any suggestions?

Sorry you are running into a problem here.

What folder do you have the Donor Manager installed in? Sometimes that makes a difference (the DM does not want to be installed in \Program Files\ ... whatever.

It wants to be installed in c:\donor5 (or c:\donor6) or some other folder other than \Program Files\...

And while it will run there sometimes, other times errors come up (like this).

I'm not sure that is what is happening, but it could be.

Perhaps we can set up a time to do a remote access session where I can see just what is happening on your computer.

Send me an email at john@donormanager.com and we'll set this up.
