changing church name

I need to change the name of a church but I can't find the instructions in the manual.
Anyone know something?

Thanks for your question. Let me see if I understand your question.

Each church in your system will have it's own master partner record. Find the church that you want to change the name of and change it there, first.

Now, the reference to that church name, and the church name are also stored in the partner records of individuals and groups (like Sunday School classes or Bible study groups) that are associated with that church.

To update the church name on those records, go to each partner record and click on the <link> button where the church name (now not accurate anymore, perhaps) and reselect the same church's new name.

That should then update how the church's name displays in each person's record.
