Question: I'd like to be able to open my Donor Data from other programs, but they have trouble opening the data files. Can you help me here?

Sure. You have several options.

One, use the "export" options in the program to save your donor data in Excel format, CSV (Comma Separated Value) format, or dBase format.

Another option is to use the Excel file "PartnerNames.xls" that the Donor Manager program puts in your "My Documents" folder. Many useful Donor Manager fields are in this file that is updated each time the Donor Manager is shut down.

Most programs can read one of those formats.

Another option is to install support for Visual FoxPro data files to your computer.

Here is a link to help you use VFP data files in Office XP applications.
