Would it be possible to incorporate back/forward buttons into the program so that you could always return to the previous screen you were on?

You're right...we had overlooked that. So here's an update: We had to upgrade to the business version of GroupMail in order to link to databases, which is something we had been thinking of for a while anyway. We made the upgrade, and were able to link to our DM database. What this does not allow us ...

Well, like I always say, I don't know a whole lot about this stuff. Maybe I'd just better explain in layman's terms what we want to do: We have a signup on our website for different types of email updates--there are three different lists people can sign up for. Currently, submitted forms are emailed...

Synch with mySQL?
Is there/could there be a way to make DM interface with mySQL? I was reading how you can do that with Microsoft Access so that you're working with the Access interface, but all the data is actually linked to a mySQL database and stored there. Is there any way to do the same type of thing with DM?

We currently are using DM to manage the mailing list for our small organization. We have about 3,000 people signed up on various lists to receive a monthly ebulletin or weekly prayer updates or periodic info on upcoming mission trips, etc. Many of these contacts sign up through an internet form on o...

Reverse User-Defined Checkbox
I have one user defined checkbox that I need to reverse for all records. In other words, for every record that the box is checked I need to uncheck it, and for every record that it's unchecked I need to check it. I have over 3,000 records, so that could get kind of time consuming do do manually. Is ...

More User-Defined Checkboxes?
I know that 10 is a pretty good number of user-defined checkboxes already, and we're probably stretching DM beyond what it's designed for (making it the master database for our entire small organization). More checkboxes could help, though. Or maybe it just needs to be a different way to classify in...

Sort Results Alphabetically in Find: results
In the details view, when you run a search for a partner under 'Find:', the results are currently displayed in order of entry into DM. How about sorting them alphabetically by the first name? I have 32 people under the last name 'Smith' for example, so I have to scroll through those trying to find t...

original entry date / last modified
John,
How about fields to let you know when a record was originally entered and the date it was last modified?

Thanks
Thanks for your reply. We'll be looking forward to future updates. For the present we have been able to work things out reasonably well with the current features. I would be interested in a few FoxPro commands, but only if it would not take much effort on your part. I do not have experience working ...

User-defined checkboxes/importing contacts
Hi John, Here's the next question: Our organization is starting to make a master list of contacts, pulling together the personal contact lists of each of our missionaries. I realize we're stretching a bit what DM was made for, but so far it's working out pretty well. What this means, though, is that...
