Donor Manager Software

I have an issue that probably should be resolved at the headquarters level, but I haven't had much luck there and so am needing to deal with it in DM. Several donors are giving through "funds", and so the donor id on my report is this "fund". This is fine if I just have one donor per "fund", but now...

Export for MailChimp does include extra email addresses added in the Email/Social page, but it also includes Facebook profiles from here (and perhaps other things, I just use "Email" and "Facebook" here). In this line, should this interact with the "ok to send bulk" flag, even for Email addresses?

I filtered by records by a group, and then went into detail group to add touches to several of them. Each time I entered a touch, the screen went back to showing all partners (on the side). I had some trouble with putting in touches, and ended up deleting several. These do not show up on the donor's page (or affect the "Date of Last Touch/Contact" report), but they still show up in the "Touch History Report."

From what I can tell, only address changes done from processing gifts get the old address put in the address history tab. It seems that this tab would be helpful as well for things like updates from the file coming back from address verification, as well as simple updates from the screen.

Looks good. I did think of one more thing that you might want to exclude - foreign addresses. I guess you would look for non-blank countries that don't match the home country. These records are easy to delete out of the exported file, so things are definitely workable as is.

Now that there is a deceased flag in the file, these records are not actually deleted. When exporting for address verification, they are included. I found a work-around for this, but am still interested in a simpler solution. I import my statement from a CSV file, so I simply open this file before importing, copy the "Comments" column and paste it over the "Receipts" column. Then I save the file and load it into DM.

I was wanting to do this same thing, and this works great. The only problem is that the donor is still counted as 1 for email batches.
